Target Audience
The target audience includes family and general practitioners, internists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, diabetologists, hospitalists, fellows, and allied health professionals.
Learning Objectives
The Learning Objectives are designed to enhance participants’ ability to:
• Evaluate the risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) events
• Describe major predictors of residual ASCVD risk, which can remain despite guideline-driven statin monotherapy
• Apply evidence-based guidelines and recent randomized clinical trial evidence to reduce residual ASCVD risk in patients with TG elevation while on statins
